The arrival of your precious little one is a time to be celebrated and cherished for a lifetime. Those first moments, days, and even weeks are fleeting and baby is changing so quickly as their features really start to develop. Wrinkles fade, hair grows/falls out/grows again, flaky skin disappears, and their little eyes begin to open to the wonder of the world. It’s in those moments, when parents are just getting to know their new arrival, and siblings see each other for the first time that love radiates the entire room. It’s so easy to forget all those little details in the whirlwind of a growing family, but photographs of that time preserve every perfect feeling and emotion. They hold the story of your family and should be captured, cherished, and handed down for generations to enjoy.

Danielle of Four Jays Photography specializes in home lifestyle and posed newborn photography. Newborn sessions take place between 6-21 days after birth and are 3-4 hours long and are conveniently located in your home. This allows the total comfort of all family members, especially siblings, extended family, and fur children. I bring everything needed to create timeless and breathtaking images of your newborn and family. It’s also my pleasure to incorporate any special items that have a personal significance to your family.

“Danielle was absolutely amazing!!! From the first meeting we had with her I knew we had made a great choice. Danielle is so sweet and personable, I automatically felt comfortable with her, and she was so great with our son! We booked a “First 48”, a newborn session, and a 1 year shoot (obviously to be done later). During our initial consult, she brought samples of her work and finished products for us to view, and took time to talk to us about the types of photos we were interested and color schemes, which she came prepared to incorporate in during both photo shoots. She took her time during each shoot and even brought a surprise set up for us incorporating a design like our announcement photo which was so special and thoughtful! Our little man spit up on her and had his very first blow out, of course on her beautiful white linens, and she was so sweet about it and told us not to worry about it at all (even though I felt terrible) she just took it in stride and kept moving forward. It was so nice having her come to the hospital and then to our home and not having to worry about bringing our newborn to a studio. She was quick to come back to let us review all the photos and pick the ones we were going to order, and got our edited photos back to us quickly as well.
