Welcome to Four Jays Photography's Student Portraiture page.  I'd love to have the opportunity to talk with you in person or on the phone; I have so much to tell you about how great the student portraiture experience can be, both for your school and your families!  I absolutely love working with children of all ages, and find it so rewarding to be able to capture their authentic personalities for their families to treasure.  This is not a rush - sit - smile - next - repeat type of process.  I strive to capture images of children that families can proudly display on their walls, send to extended family, and invoke an emotional response with daily viewing.  

I have the flexibility and desire to work with each school to create a completely unique experience.  I offer timeless set up that can be done indoors or outdoors, color or black and white, as well as the option to utilize a natural outdoor environment at your school.  In addition, some schools like to have 2 separate and very distinct "events" - fall and spring.   For instance a natural outdoor event in the fall, and timeless black and whites in the spring. 

Since many families often have more than one student at the same school, I also offer sibling groupings.  For those with older or younger siblings who may not be available during school hours, I offer (at the school's discretion) sibling portraits later in the day or occasionally on a weekend.  Families can then have a cohesive set of individual portraits and sibling portraits.  Parents and grandparents LOVE having the sibling pictures! 

There is absolutely no upfront cost for participation, and a personalized gallery of online proofs is made available for selection.  Package pricing for families is comparable to other local and "big box" student photography businesses.  I offer print only, digital only, and print+digital packages, as well as a la carte wall art.  Printed products are all beautiful 100 year archival quality professional prints, delivered as ordered (not in sheets for families to cut!).  Digital images are available via download from their gallery.  Schools with 30 students or more receive 10% of profits as a fundraising event.
